1. In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and in anticipation of February, observed in the United States as Black History Month, the Union County College Libraries invite virtual visitors to explore resources on our Black History Month Subject Guide.
Black History Month celebrates and acknowledges the wide-ranging diversity, contributions, and lives of African Americans in the United States.
As awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion heightens, February also affords an opportunity to reflect on and consider that attention should be given to the accomplishments and experiences of Black people throughout the year.
