Standards of Best Practice (SOBP)-- constitute five domains that "...offer practical guidelines for desired outcomes and safe simulation practices..." Developed by The Association of Standardized Patient Educators, the five domains are: safe work environment; case development; SP training for role portrayal, feedback and completion of assessment instruments; program management, and professional development.
