American Ambulance Association --  has at the core of its mission to "...promote health care policies that ensure excellence in the ambulance services industry and provide research, education and communications programs to enable its members to effectively address the needs of the communities they serve."  

Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs 

Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services --  was "...established to encourage and promote quality patient care in America's medical transportation system."

Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Professions

International Association of Flight and Critical Care Paramedics

National Academies of Emergency Dispatch --  an organization whose roots are in the National Academy of Emergency Medical Dispatch, founded in 1988 "...as a standard-setting organization for the field of emergency medical dispatch." 

National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians --  "...the natIon's only organization solely dedicated to representing the professional interests of all EMS practitioners, including paramedics, emergency medical technicians, first responders and other professionals working in pre-hospital emergency medicine." 

National Association of State EMS Officials

National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians --  serves as "... the National EMS Certification organization by providing a valid, uniform process to assess the knowledge and skills required for competent practice by EMS professionals throughout their careers and by maintaining a registry of certification status."

New Jersey Department of Health and Human Services: Office of Emergency Medical Services -- the Office of EMS: "...OEMS maintains the certification of more than 26,000 Emergency Medical Technician-Basics (EMT-B's) and 1,700 Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedics (EMT-P's) as well as the provider licensure of mobility assistance vehicles, ambulances, mobile intensive care units, specialty care transport units and air medical units totaling more than 4,500 vehicles."

New Jersey Medical Reserve Corps --  created by the New Jersey Department of Health and Human Services, this volunteer group, comprised of health care professionals and community health members, will respond in the event of a public health emergency in New Jersey.
