Sociology is the scientific study of human society and social interaction. This program helps students understand and use sociological tools and insights to work effectively in a diverse society.

If you're working on an assignment for a Sociology class OR your topic is related to controversial, current issues (some examples are capital punishment, genetic engineering, gay marriage, legalizing marijuana, etc.) then this guide is here to help!

Use the tabs above or click these links to Find Articles, Find Books & DVD's, and to Find Websites. Once it's time to write your paper or create your bibliography, go to the tab for Citation Guides to help cite your sources.

If you're having trouble or need search tips or additional help, ask a reference librarian at any of the campus libraries.

We're happy to help you!
