Government Resources at Union College: New Jersey

To find articles, search the Union College Libraries Databases.

Please note: If you are not logged in to your College account, you will be prompted to do so. Off-campus log-in has the following format: 

  • For students:  firstname.lastname@owl.ucc.edu, your password. 
  • For faculty and staff:  username@ucc.edu, your password.

When you are off-campus, your username is your full Union College email address (jane.doe@owl.ucc.edu). The password will be the same one you use on campus.

Particularly useful databases for government information are listed below.

Websites

NJ211  -- search for state and local services. Includes contacts for housing assistance, utility assistance programs and unemployment help.

New Jersey Civil Service Commission -- search state, county and municipal government job announcements.

New Jersey Departments and Agencies --  lists State of New Jersey Departments and Agencies and their Websites.

New Jersey Federal Depository Libraries -- New Jersey's 23 Federal Depository Libraries provide Federal Government information to the public.

New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority --  is the state agency whose mission is to provide students and families with financial and informational resources for pursuit of education beyond high school.

New Jersey State Library -- collections include NJ State publications, U.S. government publications, and grants information.
