TEAS Test : Science

About the Science Test

Each subject category in the TEAS Test has a separate time limit. The Science section is 60 minutes, and is comprised of 50 questions that cover three areas: scientific reasoning, human anatomy and physiology, and life and physical sciences.

Texas State Technical College Librarian Amanda Suiters has developed an outstanding TEAS research guide. The following is her work and is used with permission.

Click here to see tabs for:

  • Biology, anatomy and physiology: microbiology, genetics, biological processes, biological systems
  • Chemistry, physics and scientific reasoning: scientific reasoning, unit conversions, elements and atoms, chemical bonds, chemical reactions and physics

The tabs contain:  review videos, websites and practice problems for biology, anatomy & physiology, scientific reasoning, chemistry, and physicsflashcards to help study, and practice tests based on the types of questions you will see on the actual test.
