TEAS-- Test of Essential Academic Skills is an exam that tests a student's preparedness to enter a health science field. The test is part of basic admissions requirements for nursing or allied health school. To know all requirements for admission, check with the schools you are applying to as each nursing or allied health program will have its own.
The TEAS exam consists of 170 four-option, multiple-choice questions over 209 minutes in four subject areas: Reading, Mathematics, Science, English and Language Usage.
Twenty of the questions are non-scored, pre-test questions. Each subject category has a separate time limit:
