Countries, Peoples & Cultures (from Salem Press) covers
the regions of Central & South America, Asia, Africa, Europe,
Africa, North America, and The Caribbean.

Country Studies Digitized Books These titles, sponsored by the U.S. Army, provide information about countries where U.S. military forces could be deployed. It is a collection of digitizes books provided by the Library of Congress. Each title is a online readable or downloadable pdf copies of books about countries around the world. Most of the titles were published in the 1990's.

Discovering South America
This series discusses the land, the history, the economy, the people, and the
festivals of each country. The Union College Library holds thirteen titles 
of print books reflecting nations in South America.

Ethnic Groups of the World

This concise reference set presents research on the national groups and
ethnicities of North American, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.

Greenwood Histories of the Modern Nations
A series of books providing historic overviews of several countires. The UCC book collection
contains the following titles: Afghanistan, Australia, Central America, China, Cuba, Egypt,
France, Greece, Iraq, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.

World Bank Country Study
Country Studies are published with approval of the subject government to communicate
the results of the Bank's work on the economic and related conditions of member countries
to governments and to the development community.
