NJ Ticks 4 Science-- is a "...citizen science project" affiliated with the Rutgers University Agricultural Experiment Station. It functions by people submitting ticks they encounter "...in their everyday lives while living, working, and visiting New Jersey or as part of a Tick Blitz!" This will help Rutgers researchers "...understand the changing distribution of ticks and tick-borne pathogens across New Jersey..." in order to "...learn where and when people are exposed to ticks and tick-borne diseases."
