Get to know the differences between Open Access resources and Open Educational Resources...

Open Access (OA) vs. Open Educational Resources (OER):

Open Access (OA) refers to resources that are free to use and do not require a subscription and there are no paywalls. Open Educational Resources (OER) are also free to use and do not require a subscription, but are under an open license that allows for the resource to be copied, shared, remixed, adapted, and transformed. All OER are OA resources, but not all OA resources are OER. If you are unsure if a resource or material is OA or OER, ask a librarian for assistance!
