LGBTQIA+ Organizations

GLAAD-- GLAAD's mission is to "amplify the voice of the LGBT community by empowering real people to share their stories, holding the media accountable for the words and images they present, and helping grassroots organizations communicate effectively."

Human Rights Campaign (HRC)-- works to "...ensure that all LGBTQ+ people, and particularly those of us who are trans, people of color and HIV+, are treated as full and equal citizens within our movement, across our country and around the world."

Lambda Legal-- "...Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work..."

National Center for Transgender Equality-- The National Center for Transgender Equality advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people.

National LGBTQ Task Force-- is the USA's "...oldest national LGBTQ advocacy group...."

PFLAG-- Founded in 1973, PFLAG is the nation's largest family and ally organization.
