Professional Associations

American Association for Respiratory Care -- The AARC-- The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) is the leading national and international professional association for respiratory care. The AARC encourages and promotes professional excellence, advances the science and practice of respiratory care, and serves as an advocate for patients and their families, the public, the profession and the respiratory therapist.

New Jersey Society for Respiratory Care -- The New Jersey Society for Respiratory Care (NJSRC) is a chartered affiliate of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), and a non-profit organization with the dedicated purpose of promoting and advancing the art, science, technology, and ethics of respiratory care in the State of New Jersey.

New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care -- This board licenses and regulates respiratory therapists in New Jersey.

Student Membership in AARC -- Take advantage of joining the profession's preeminent association while you are a student!

The National Board for Respiratory Care -- The National Board for Respiratory Care is the credentialing organization for those entering into the respiratory care profession. The NBRC offers testing across multiple specific areas of respiratory care.
